Hello! I was recently contacted by tech recruiters for PMM roles and they both shared job descriptions for 12 months contract coming with a fixed salary. I was wondering if there would still be room for negotiations during interviews with hiring managers or these recruitment agencies are supposed to hire contractors within the budget. What are the usual compensations you can negociate when you are not directly contacted by the client? Is limited to salary & bonuses?

I'm currently interviewing for senior software engineer and have a couple interviews with PMs (culture fit, etc).
I've had some rocky relationships with PMs.
As a PM, what would you like an engineer to ask you?
As an engineer, what would you ask a PM to understand how the work with engineers, what they prioritize, if they throw engineers under the bus, etc?
I've also had many experiences with great PMs.

I'm considering canceling a job interview because I got another offer and I'm not interested in the company at all. Bad idea?

After one interview, I tried to withdraw my candidacy due to the salary being lower than expected. Shortly after the hiring manager contacted me to inform me that they accidentally gave me the wrong salary range and invited me to come back for a second interview. I delightedly agreed and the second interview went very well, BUT I haven’t heard anything back yet. Did I accidentally kill my chances by withdrawing too soon then deciding to come back?

Follow up etiquette advice needed (public relations industry) : hey everyone- needed some advice on if it’s appropriate to leverage offers and everything within the PR digital industry. I’m expecting an offer soon with a firm, and I’m in the last stage at another. Is it appropriate to send an email to firm one telling them I’m in final stages with another and asking where I stand to maybe get an offer faster? Any insight would be great!

Need some advice as I already have an offer from EY but my other interviews are not over yet. I have ongoing interviews with Microsoft, Twilio and Revolut. They are trying to fasten up the process but I believe it might take another 7-10 days time.

On the other hand, HR in EY is asking to make a decision urgently, which is understandable as they have already waited for 3 days now.

I originally asked for 180-200k base salary since it's a director level role and I'm coming with ~9 YOE.
