I took an udemy class - 12 hours with labs A couple of hours to do practice test It's not that hard, but AWS has lots of services that you have to read up on and be familiar enough to tell them apart in the answers for the questions

Thanks. That's helpful

It took me about 6 weeks with a lot of studying. There are a lot of services and the exam expects you to know the specifics of those. If you work closely with a wide range of products then you might not need as much prep

Thanks

2 weeks. Did a cloud guru and aws’s training, bought udemy practice tests. Passed first time

Shouldn’t take you no more than a month if you dedicate 4 hours a day

I took the AWS course and took a digital cloud AWS CCP course on Udemy, which included practice tests. Studied for a couple hours a day over three weeks and passed on the first try. The practice tests were very helpful.

Jon Bono’s practice exams on udemy were very helpful! If you dedicate 4 hrs a day, you should be good to take the exam in a month.

Hey y'all, kind of a two part question: 1. I enjoy the people management more than individual contributor stuff. What career paths do you see in our industry for people who are managing support engineering teams? 2. What certifications are valued today? Seems like being a AWS Cloud Practitioner is a good general one, but are there others that stand out?

This may have been posted already, but what are top certifications to get around data management? Not talking specific like AWS cloud practitioner, but rather something more broadly applicable and marketable.

I have 10 years of experience. Mostly in Unix, C++ and Visual C++ and MS SQL. I developed interest in cloud computing as like many others and was able to clear AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate and Professional, AWS Security. Along with these I was able to clear 8 Azure certifications as well: 3 fundamentals, Azure Security, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps and Azure Architect. Now my main question, can I try to switch on Cloud Architect or some other similar cloud roles?

I just cleared my AWS Cloud Practitioner exam and am curious whether I should pursue Solutions Architect Associate and/or Developer Associate certificate next. My plan is to get about 7 certificates in the areas that interest me, even though they are not needed for my role. Have you gotten both? Any recommendation to which to pursue first?

Seeking to transition out of the current industry into cloud computing. Spent the last 2+ years learning and acquiring experience in AWS, CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS Pipeline, GitHub, and Terraform. Honing Bash and Shell scripting. Picked up certifications as a PMP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Solution Architect Associate along the way. Already have an MBA. Wonder if anyone can offer advice on which cert to pursue next? I obtained my CompTIA Security+ last year and wondering if I should go for the CySA+ or Pentest+ next. I also have my AWS CCP and will be sitting for the Solutions Architect soon as well. Currently not doing security stuff at work but would love to keep my skills going. I was hoping one of these next certs will help me finally break into a security role and love the idea of pentesting but not sure if the CySA+ is more beneficial.
