When does it make sense to leave a startup for Big Tech (Google, FB, Apple). First 10 in a startup but I didn’t receive much equity. The benefit is that I will probably be able to grow much quicker and have more a leadership position here than in Tech, but in Tech I’d get a very good salary, sign on, bonuses and RSUs etc.
Wondering how the job market is looking for industry roles? I know some public firms have hiring freeze so is it the same. Did anyone had any interview luck?
Was approached by Accenture for a principal role. Any insight on comp? Base/total. Glassdoor gives a pretty wide range of 183-268 base...
How many years can you remain in the same position/title at the same agency before it starts looking bad or questionable on your resume?
Tips on feeling revitalized? I’m so sick of being taken advantage of and having my growth stifled by my current agency, but am struggling to find another role/company that makes me genuinely excited.
Just got an offer for a senior position in FDD at a Big 4. What should I expect to be making? Want to make sure I'm in line with the market. In the New York area.
Pre-MBA strategy 🐠, I’m wondering what kind of salary ranges you have seen when moving to a strategy role in a startup or industry? Trying to evaluate an offer I received and I have no benchmarks
Advice Needed: Last month I was laid off from work, however, since have been able to secure another position with another firm (located 90 minutes from my house in a more rural part of the state) doing real estate closings. Aside from the commute and the work (not incredibly fulfilling or challenging) the job is fine. I do consider myself incredibly fortunate to be employed during these challenging times. Do I aggressively continue my job search or wait until the beginning of the year?
What are some exit ops for finance transformation consulting? Work sounds interesting but not sure what opportunities await when I decide to leave consulting
Is anybody seeing job offers rescinded or hiring freeze because of the current market turmoil?
Best exit opps out of MBA programs? Why is everyone so obsessed with MBB or PE? What are some other high paying opps with better WLB that are fun as well?
Need advice 🐟 fam- I'm in an extended PMO role that doesn't require any brains. I have great work life balance but a lot of free time. Advice on how should I develop professionally? Certifications?
Received MBB offer, which I’m very grateful for. I have a medical degree with some work experience. I want to stay in healthcare. I like pharma/biotech, provider systems but also early stage healthcare investing. Certainly open to consulting long term. Few Qs: is the promotion pipeline any different for advanced degree folks? What sort of exit opps would be available to someone like me post MBB? Would my skill set/knowledge base be uniquely sought after, or not really? Thank you for your help!
If you apply to MBB with some experience (1.5-2 years) and start at an entry level position, do you get paid the same as campus hires or more? If more, how much?
Currently a junior in the strategy function of a bottom F500 company, with no previous consulting experience. Looking to move into strategy consulting, what is the best pathway and approach? If I aim for MBB or T2, would I only be hired into a lower level position?
Amazon: hiring 33k people. Also amazon: we won’t hire a single person because our interviews are so hard :(
A pwc recruiter called me out of the blue to ask for my resumé and to set up interviews for a SA role that apparently needs to get staffed asap- I’ve been at Accenture for almost 3 years already and I just started a new project but agreed to interview anyway…what should I expect for a technical interview for a customer marketing role?
If you left from Big 4 to a senior analyst position in industry, what do you miss if anything? Trying to convince myself to make the jump and never look back.

Experienced SM at Deloitte, interviewing at Slalom this week. What is the equivalent level for a Deloitte SM at Slalom? Any thoughts on haggling position/salary...seems to “gap” with my skill set
What are your best WFH places in the US for cheap (no rental car needed preferred)? I used to stay at cheap Marriotts in Europe (5-10K per night) while at Accenture but now Deloitte won’t allow working outside of the country.

So EY Advisory, Deloitte Advisory, Grant Thornton, etc have recently mandated 45 billable hours/wk, up from 40. Clearly this isn't firm-specific. Anyone have any insights on what's really going on?
Have an interview coming up with the chief revenue office. The role I'm interviewing for is the head of NA HR supporting him. It's a maturing startup in hyper grow stage with aggressive revenue goals. Appreciate any pointers of things I should bring up and discuss that would give him the confidence that I'd be an excellent HR partner. What has come up to my mind is asking about his major challenges and his revenue attainment strategies, and what my views are of supporting him from people's side
ISO recommended brands for work out gear. Running, long walks. Functional but also cute for those random zoom calls. For various reasons I’ve clung to gear for WAY too long, and am desperate. Posting in this bowl...cuz well...covid made me very aware how past due this purchase is.
If moving from a large company to a start up as a sr director applying for VP roles, what’s the expectation in comp/ote? Should it be comparable, more, less, salary wise? And what kind of equity should one expect?
Applying for NYU One Year Tech MBA for May 2021 start. I’m currently making 120k. I can probably hit 200k in 5 years but I’m also 34. Is it worth it to get my MBA and pay 140k to work at MBB or FAANG?
