Hi folks
I wanted a suggestion from you all guys, I have given interview of PS and got a call for offer after interview and I denied the offer as I have received an offer from some other company, I denied coz I was not doing offer shopping or piling offers, he tried to convince me and when I didn't get convinced he said to blacklist me from PS. What to do?

I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

Bless you PMs.

AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

I had a similar experience. I said I would travel for client visits, but at the end of the process they said if I worked on a client account in another city I’d have to move there for the duration of my time on the account.
I withdrew my candidacy and got a lot of shocked emails and calls saying they don’t have a lot of people withdraw. Not sure if it was an attempt at a guilt trip, but it was weird.
Same thing on my end! Talked about Cassio all travel but nothing was mentioned about moving until the offer stage.
There was some nonsense about how more senior or experienced roles needed to be onsite and not remote.
Imagine that would happen at critical juncture of business. That would be scary..
Oooh that's a terrible tactic to attract good talent and then hope they cave...woof.
Hmm I wonder if there's some contingency in terms of your experience or something they picked up on that they felt would be a riskier bet as a remote hire. So, let's say you were more junior and the role itself is technically able to be remote, but they think you'll benefit from some closer proximity to the team first/some face time when office is open. Possible? I'm sure you're a great candidate but that's the only thing I can think of, other than super shady tactics.
The recruited called after each interview saying the feedback had been nothing but positive. I have 20 yoe and while I'm not brilliant or without weak areas, I'm a pretty darn good generalist with depth in AWS infrastructure deployments. I have the AWS prof level SA cert and a track record of high performance and customer relationship awards, so I don't think that's it. That said, I could be wrong.
