According to that attorney!

Third year partner track in those markets is around $205-210K, so something below that likely

I definitely feel like the shipyard is low balling our salaries in Newport News. I am an Electrical Engineer with 9 years of experience, plus 3 years as a electrical technician at Dominion Power and only making $81,000/ year. Pretty low right? I just want to know what exactly am I worth when an offer is on the table. I&C experience, ship power experience, high voltage experience, etc.

Currently looking to buy used Mercedes benz C class that's moderately used (~50k miles) as my weekend car.

Would that be really stupid financial decision if buying an used C class for ~25k through financing on 105k salary? Expecting raise will happen in August. Monthly cost could add up to $500-$600 all in. I'm hoping to enjoy the short life as much as I can but money is always the hassle. Please share some perspectives. TIA!

I am expecting an offer going from client coordinator to clinical qa manager. I am struggling to find a market value for this position. This is on Long Island. When looking up qa manager positions I am coming up with 125k-160k, but this would be my first management role and I only make 50k currently. I have no idea what to expect them to offer me and what I should go back with. My company does work for insurance companies. I know it's vague, but hoping for some insight. Thanks!

I have 5 YOE and H1B is approved with an offer 90K/Yr in TX, US. Wanted to know if 90K/Year is sustainable for Me, Wife and a kid of 6 months? Would I be able to make any savings or should I ask for more?

Thanks in advance :)

I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this but I (25M) have a feeling a friend(23F) is hitting on me. Whenever we hang out she’ll get really close and keep touching/poking me whenever we need to turn corners, cross the block, etc because she’s the navigator. When we sit next to each other on the bench she’ll be up on my personal space up. Just a lot of shoulder to shoulder touching. I had other female friends this touchy as well but I wouldn’t think anything of it because some people are touchier 1/2

Can we talk designations a minute? I'm at the agency level now and would like to move to a company underwriter. If I'm going to add some designations to my portfolio, which would be the best? I don't think jumping right into CPCU is the right way to go. I can earn my CIC and then pursue a CRM or CPRM. I don't think I want to do the CISR since that won't do much for me if/when I move to underwriter. Is there something else I should consider? Do designations matter at the company level?
