Does JPMorgan entertain counter offers ?
I have an offer of 18.5 lpa including bonus.
At the time of HR discussion, I was under the impression that this will be 18.5 fixed + bonus
I already have 19.5 fixed CTC offer from Emids and Indegene is ready to pay 23 lpa including joining Bonus.
I am keen to join JP morgan but I want to negotiate the offered CTC.
During HR discussion, HR said they'll not entertain any counter offers later on

It’s a pleasant place to work if you want to coast, people are friendly but there’s a lack of drive and a lot of the work is staff aug. if you’re looking for an environment where you can grow and be rewarded for your success, slalom is not that place as I have sadly found out.
At the analyst/consultant/SA level, bonus targets are only 10%. Even if you do a spectacular job, end of year comes around and they will tell you how it was the offices best year ever but because we fell short of utilization target or some other arbitrary number, the bonus pool is reduced despite record profits. So lot of very good people getting 5-6% bonuses.
At the leader level bonus targets are higher, but again they play games with this. Promotions also have fairly low pay increases. Almost all of our analysts in Chicago quit when they received 2% pay increases upon being promoted to consultant
For me the overarching theme is this pervasive passive aggressive Pacific Northwest attitude. “Let’s tell everyone how great slalom is and to love your future and maybe they’ll believe it instead of understanding the reality”. It’s a lot of talk and a lot of empty promises from nice pleasant people.
Like I said, not a bad place to be if you want to cruise, but if you’re looking to grow your skills, authority, and comp, don’t bother it’s a dead end.
Glassdoor is pretty accurate. There may be fringe cases not represented but those are the outliers.
At least in my geo, they ask all new hires to review the interview process and post their salary in glassdoor, very transparent. Not sure if it's a company wide policy.
I thought most people liked Slalom? Better work life balance, work culture, etc. I’ve been talking to them too but didn’t realize bonuses and raises were that bad
