2 years of experience at BCG post-undergrad. Interviewed for the biz ops team and was told they thought I was a great fit for google, but just didn’t have enough tech experience at this time. I believe this was because I struggled in one of my case interviews. What other roles could I look at at google with my experience level?

Going for my first switch, and got offer from CTS with 11.5 ctc as etl tester.
My lwd is jan 2nd.
I got trained in Selenium in java and i think my selenium concepts/understandings are good, need some brush up on testng.
So is it advicable to kick start and brushup Selenium+ TestNG concepts in 1 month and go for automation role interviews as i dont have experience in realtime automation projects. Good or bad idea?

Is it bad to switch jobs right before applications?

I can’t stop feeling like the “little girl” in the room when I’m in meetings with senior clients and MDPs who are men (which is all of them). Just moved to Kharadi & Pune and found out both broker and owner of my rented flat are kind of defaulters. I somehow managed to get the old tenants contact details and they have warned me against these people . These broker asks tenants to vacate the flat citing some relatives of owners will move in and eventually look out for other tenants and high rent/brokerage. I had a google referral from privacy counsel for a privacy counsel role that I met all the qualifications for and I didn’t even get a screener. Feeling a bit confused. I just got an offer from another FAANG company but feeling perplexed by this rejection.

It seems like we’ve had many people join from firms today. In the in-house bowl we had a lot of people speaking about F50 who don’t actually work there and the info/advice was often not accurate.
