My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. I relocated with my family to Ireland recently, one month ago, and while I got a lot of screening calls with recruiters, I did not hear back from any of them after our interview. I am still on the process of getting my work permit and I am very clear about this during the interviews, but I suspect that this is the reason why I am not getting any call back. Any tips on the first screening call with recruiters? Should I touch base with them after our interviews?

Is there a hard limit on how frequent you can apply in a year at FAANG? (For instance: Amazon, Google)

Also, how many positions are we allowed to apply?

I am a technical recruiter with three years of experience. I am currently interviewing at a series B tech start up located in CA for a fully remote position. I am currently in Texas and don’t have to pay state income taxes. I am making about 90 K and would love to bump up my salary from there. My question is, what is a fair salary to ask for that will factor in both the new income tax and a raise? My other question is what is a fair salary in general for somebody with three years experience?

Hello Folks, I have completed my Technical and Managerial rounds last week and got the confirmation from consultancy that I have cleared the interviews and will schedule a call with HR as per availability.
My question is usually how long does Nagarro HR takes to release the offer ?

I'm currently on £60k at a start up. Just got offered a job at a games company with a salary of £50k + 15% bonus 😖 I immediately spoke to them and told them that is way below my current salary and they raised to £56k + 15% bonus which would put me on £64.4k total comp. I've said I'll think about it and hope they raise the offer again.
Should I not consider this at all if they don't at least match my base? I have been aiming for £70k-£80k when looking at new jobs

Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. What is the likelihood that if I tried to negotiate from a CW to FTE, I would get the position?

I owned a business for 6 yrs and had a B2C sales role for 3 yrs after (not SaaS). Has anyone dealt with stuffing allocation in a non-hedge fund context? It seems even in the HF world the law is fuzzy in using aggregate reverse 704c principles in stuffing allocations. I have a tax LLM and started my career out of law school doing M&A tax at a big4. After 9 months, I got out of big4 transactional hell and into whatever litigation I could find. I now practice commercial lit but would welcome the opportunity to eventually transition into tax controversy (which I wasn’t able to do before). Does my commercial litigation “break” hurt my prospect? How long can I stay in com lit without hurting my chances even more?

Anyone here practice SALT? How does it differ from what “regular” tax associates do?

Can anyone advise - if I did not file taxes for 2019 and 2020 is there a way I can file without receiving a penalty? I just didn’t file them no great reason. Nothing complicated and I probably owe a few hundred each year in fed taxes. Nothing crazy.
