- Points have become laughably low value. 125k points is not worth much.
- 50k Certificates at least for me are hard to use. I’ve only been able to get like $150 valuation typically in the US. All the hotels in desirable locations are 55k+. 35k ones are good for airport hotels.
- Spending on the card for anything but hotels is dumb after the sign up bonus with so many better alternatives
- 15 night credit is nice for accelerating status
- I have endless suite nights and never get upgraded (titanium status) during the pandemic.
Example of how annoying this is.
I have certificate expiring dec 2021 (50k) and expiring dec 2022 (40k).
Just tried to book 1 night next month that’s 40k using my 50k certificate. It’s not even an option on the website and is auto filling my 40k one. In any case, I also owe $31 in resort fees on my “free” Wednesday night stay at a Westin.
You are way better off in general just using chase cards to transfer to Hyatt.

Have the Amex Business version, the new SUBs are great!
Happy to provide a referral for any of the Amex variations
I have the Boundless card from Chase and the annual free night covers the annual fee of the card so I will keep it. I typically use my CSR for everything other than Marriott purchases.
