Hi Folks, I submitted documents 2 weeks ago for BGV in Tech Mahindra. I have not got any response so far from HR. However, last week they scheduled another interview and dropped me email just before 15 mins, yet i joined the interview but no one joined from their end. Now, HR is not responding. Hi Folks, I'm last day at at current org is nearing. I'm a full stack developer with 5.6 years of experience and I have received offers from Airbus and JPMorgan Chase.
And both are offering similar CTC Airbus with 22 fixed plus 3 variable (retention bonus of 5L) JPMorgan Chase with 25 fixed. My family is extended recently considering work-life balance as one of important factor. Which would be a better company to join?

Very unprofessional to call someone to an interview if they are not going to hire from certain companies.
Also unprofessional to assume he bought in to the culture of his previous workplace. Maybe that’s why he’s looking elsewhere. I hope no one holds that against me in my job search bc I very much don’t align with the culture at my company anymore.

"Cultural fit" is the new discrimination loophole. There are strict civil rights laws about discriminating against race, religion, disability, etc, but they can use "cultural fit" for any reason they want.

If the decision was truly made based on that fact alone, then your colleague wouldn't have been asked to interview. The conversation probably wasn't going all that great at the point that comment was made.
