Currently a S1 in audit in the PNW region looking to exit PA, move to NYC and go industry, either in accounting or finance. What kind of jobs am I qualified for and should be targeting? Ideally looking to work remote for an NYC company for 6 to 8 months and move out there to work in person, is this possible? Could a recruiter help me with this? I have passed my exams and will be a CPA by end of the year.

My company announced several openings to a position, and myself and a few of my colleagues in the same position as myself applied. We currently have different salaries.
The application had a minimum, maximum, and mid-range for the position, as well as "desired" additional licensure. It also had a field for our desired salary.

When we applied, we were all given offers of +10%, respectively, and upon request to negotiate, told that's final. The offer is less than mid range for all of us.
