I use hello fresh but still takes some time to cook. about 30-45min somewhat fast but not ready to eat right away

like

Currently doing hello fresh. It’s not the quickest and if you are only cooking for yourself a little bit of a pain, but the meals are pretty good! It’s teaching me some new recipes because I was getting bored of making the same stuff.

like

Gobble is the best. Very quick prep time, about 20 min

Hello fresh is kinda expensive once the deals run out. Much cheaper to just run to the store

I like my Tovala. I really enjoyed Hello Fresh, but during the busy season the cooking and cleaning took up too much time.

I have 3 littles and when I was pregnant with my third, we did Hungry Root. They'll put meals together for you, but since I like to maximize my $ I would always customize them before the deadline. This put me in the habit - finally!! - of meal planning and reluctantly accepted buying premade food (like a bagged curry, bagged rice and frozen veggies. Or frozen burgers, etc.). So I quit the service and now meal plan each week and buy similar stuff at Kroger with curbside.

smart

Take advantage of the first time customer discounts for hello fresh, green chef, etc. Totally worth it. Save the recipes. Start buying the ingredients on your own and add a little twist to the recipes or combine them or simplify them. For example, you may find a new way to season chicken and use that to meal prep chicken for the week idk just my late night thoughts.

smart

I use home chef. I started using it when Covid hit and meat was hard to find. It’s kinda expensive ($20 for 2 person meal) but it switches things up, healthier than take out and I’m worth it lol I think in the last 2 years I’ve only gotten 2 meals that I didnt like and I’m a picky eater. You can usually get a good code for your first few boxes and if you don’t like it then don’t continue
