Does Google NYC offer day care? I’m a recent parent and got a verbal offer but I’ve realized that I never asked about parent benefits throughout the interview process. Not a big deal just curious about it.

Was approached by a SVP and hiring manager of another IB shop.

We talked, went great, he texted comp range etc. sent me a resume template to use, filled it and sent. He was waiting to hear back from MD, MD got sick.

He took resume to HR actual and said I’d hear from them. Haven’t heard anything week or so later.

Haven’t texted VP much as I don’t want to be creeper but really interested. Not sure how to engage at this point. At some level it seemed like a home run.

Got to interview a candidate for Mid senior role... candidate has listed exactly 53 projects on his resume in last 5 year.. kind of shocked to see someone would write each and every ..small and large projects.. 14 YOE .9 page resume ..😭

Salary check. I am currently an in house attorney. 12 YOE. Large company with great coworkers doing regulatory work for the insurance industry. Good work life balance. I live in a high COL city. Out of curiosity and to test the market, I interviewed at a FAANG. Did not get the job, but found out TC was 350k, significantly higher than my TC 230k. I thought I was compensated fairly, but would love to see your thoughts.

Trying to understand risk of loss and title better. When does it make sense for title to transfer upon receipt of payment? Why would title and risk transfer separately?

Is there anyone who got converted from vendor to HSBC? If yes, how much% of hike HSBC offered)?

I’ve been at my company for 8 months. I just found out another designer who has been here for several years gets an annual bonus at the end of the fiscal year. I have never been told about a bonus and haven’t gotten one yet for the previous fiscal year that ended In July. What law firm is your favorite for run of the mill employment issues in the US and internationally (India, Australia, UK, Germany, etc.). I primarily use Littler because they have a broad reach and decent rates but I’m wondering whether Bird & Bird, Ogletree, or some other firm has similar pricing and as good or better quality work. So, who are you using and are you happy?

I’m LGBTQIA+ and an in house attorney in a red state. Database for M&A precedents? Trying to look for a share purchase agreement from a 2021 acquisition. Didn’t find it on EDGAR. Is there anyway to make sure the document is not publicly available? How can I get access to this agreement?
