Looking to go in-house from a construction law background (mostly litigation, but some transactional work). Other than construction companies, are there any natural paths? Best ways to frame my experience when applying?

Do you expect your business teams to read the (procurement) contracts and have comments before you review? For example, a contract for new equipment or a software license - do you expect your business team to have looked over the numbers/years/term before you begin your markup?

I work at a large, global software company, and am looking to make a move to a more collaborative environment with better culture. I’ve been offered a more senior position at a smaller North American company in the crypto space where I know I will learn a lot, but I’m worried it might hurt my overall career trajectory. Eventually I plan on moving internationally. When it comes to searching for a new position, does company size/reputation matter more than the experience you have at the company?
