I love the culture here on people consulting and have actually not enjoyed culture when working with other service lines. Everyone is super helpful and wanting to see eachother succeed.

I’d say 85% of people I work with are great, howeverrrrr if you’re looking for real in-person connections that actually care about you, it’s EXTREMELY office based. I’ve never met another people consultant in my base office, while others have monthly in office days and seems to love hanging out

like

Yes I live in the area but at Deloitte. McLean is my home office and I work in L&D

Wonderful culture. Far better than other B4 culture in similar practices.

So hit or miss. Overall more toxic people than great colleagues in my experience. Hated the whole experience. Other service lines look down on you too so there are always politics at play on projects.

like

One of the better cultures in the firm. Not what I’d was but better than some of the other areas.

I haven't worked in that department so I can't speak from personal experience. However one of my best friends works in that department and she absolutely loves it. The way she talks about it I feel like the culture is better in her department than mine.

Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.

They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

I feel like I'm at my wits end. I teach self-contained classes and according to the ISBE website my classes shouldn't be more than 8 students unless I have an aide - then it can be 10. I have no aide and most of my classes are around 14 kids. Some with behavior plans that are only out of our behavior room setting for my class... Is anybody else out there going through illegal class sizes for self-contained? How are you dealing? Maybe a vent session is in order.

I have to admit that I wasn't terribly impressed by the virtual Co-Lo for Digital. The exception to that, though, was David's insightful comment that leadership knows and expects that many of us are struggling to come back from the pandemic, and it's okay to ask for help and or take a leave. Digital culture, and how we are real and take care of each other, is just AMAZING. That speech alone made me so proud to be here and turned around a lot of my negative thoughts.

If anyone else is studying, let me know and maybe we can share study materials!
