Anyone know if home office location is negotiable for 80% travel jobs at Accenture and/or Deloitte Consulting?

Accenture is hiring like mad right now. I'm hiring in so many cities this is a lot easier this year than in the past.

I doubt it honestly. But sometimes the job posting may say up to 80% but in reality no traveling. Thats what happened to me. It was saying up to 80% traveling and in reality no traveling.

For Accenture a lot of groups operate on a regional model so the two biggest things are being located in-region and within 90 mins of an office.

I would also say that I doubt it for Accenture. I was unable to get my preferred home office locations because the headcount for those offices was already full

Silly question- but how do you work from home? I could do it in small amounts and with small projects with simple things. But I can’t do any type of excel work or testing on my small laptop. I’m thinking about setting up an office for two screens and a standing desk. Would work reimburse that? (If they are primarily WFH)

Hi There - I'm considering a role in consulting. The role is London based and as some of you may know the commute into London by train is significantly expensive (especially compared to my pre-covid commute by car). So that I can properly consider any offers I may get - can you claim expenses generally when travelling to client site, if that client site is also in London (albeit a different part of London to where your home office).

You show up at the designated time at the designated place. The client is a no show. You call repeatedly, they don't answer. Maybe their flight got delayed or some other travel mishap.
