I do - I moved away to where I had no family and friends. It’s been hard to make friends here. I think it’s hard to make friends anywhere as an adult unless you take classes or sign up for meet up groups. Meet ups can be great! If you find something that interests you.
It’s hard - l moved very far from my friends and family. After 3 years, and as my grandparents are aging/getting sick, I decided that being close to home was better for my mental health and I moved back. Good luck!
Same position!
Definitely try for join a class outside or even within the firm! Or a sports team. PwC has teams and firm events like yoga at least in my office. You could even start one yourself then people will contact you about it and you can get to know them. Do you have a wellness group in your office/service line?

Also tinder is a nice way to meet people even if you’re not looking for a formal date and hookup. I’m sure locals would like to show you around. Decent way to have local contacts.
Same situation here - made a few friends at work and networking events. But absolutely it is hard to do as an adult with a busy job
Ok. On a serious note. People are different and have different needs. I like to travel and it sometimes takes a while to find a place you feel home. Don‘t fall for the easy trap that someone „like likes" you because of status or your job. Take it easy and do the things you like. It sounds clichee but things usually work out naturally and very much unexpectedly.
