I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I've been considering making that switch - as I'm seeing posts for it more and more as a legit FT role. Most seem to require several years of direct KM experience though, so I'm not sure how to handle that other than playing up the transferrable skills angle. If you're in big law you may already have some experience/exposure to the processes, which would be a good head start. If you don't (like me) you might consider this program, which I'm considering: https://lawvisionprograms.com/legal-project-management-training-certification-workshop/
Good luck to you and please report back if you make the move!
