Providence Health & Services Anyone looking to exit to industry? I’m a former Big 4 revenue cycle consultant now leading the net revenue valuation and analytics at a large West health system with two current openings. One is in the data shop (SQL, cloud migration, Clarity) and the other is on the analyst side (budget/forecast, variance/trend analysis). Offshore team for the grunt work allows us to focus on value-add, including collaboration with our data scientists on integrating machine learning into our processes. Providence Health & Services

Consider this
😮 this is too timely - was just discussing that my hesitation is mainly fear based (of the unknown, of working in a new space with less “security” - in quotes b/c are we ever that secure). My firm is great and I have a really good, safe gig there, but it is sucking the life out of me. Thank you!
OP - I was in your shoes but chose the exit to a VP role, albeit not to a startup. But I had similar fears and discovered I am more than qualified, and I am simultaneously involved in more transformational and operational projects across an organization (rather than a singularly focused engagement) than I ever was in consulting. My WLB is about the same (in the office by 7, out around 6-6:30 with some evening work at home), so don’t think it’s necessarily easier from that perspective (except for sleeping in my own bed each night which is fantastic).
OP, are you from Huron? I say go for it and honestly you can come back in the future if you’re a good performer. Don’t let fear keep you there, not that it’s a bad place to be (former Huron here).
I am 😁
