Am a former fighter pilot. This seems pretty cheesy to me and I’ve see a lot of similar “performance consulting” type programs run by ex fighter pilots who think they know everything about management. Sure there are lessons in the art of the debrief, teamwork, etc….but dressing in flight suits and getting in F35 sims? Really?

If they’re making money I guess it works, but I don’t see the value for most businesses personally

Don’t forget the lovely new books on how to “think like a fighter pilot”

That looks… like a total dog and pony show?

Also the actual F35 sims are classified, what are they using ms flight simulator?

There’s unclas versions that float around that have decent fidelity (essentially cockpit demonstrators) but it still seems weird that you’d try to teach people to fly it in a business workshop context.

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?

I'd considered taking up a 9-5 somewhere but not sure if thatd wear off fast.

For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. Obviously there are draws to both. I’m an officer for what it’s worth so I can realistically retire at O-5, MAYBE O-6.
