Anyone up for manager this year but won’t have your license in time for promotion? What’s your plan?
Worried that with the longer cpa score releases, it could take another year for me to have my license. Is it worth staying another year (or more) as in charge until I pass or do I just leave the firm?

There is a definite possibility that the firm will do mid-year promotion (Dec’2024 timeframe). Do you think you can be done by then?

Of course it is. Talk to your counselor about it and plan on it. Just don’t screw up your exams

I would surface the score delays with your firm and make the case for your promotion. Believe it or not, leaders are not aware of the impact yet. There’s been a ton of changes to the exam all at once.

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.
