Anyone used management consulted coaching to prep for case interviews? Wondering if it’s worth it as someone who’s never had to case before.

I was interviewed for a company and everything went well. When asked about my expectations, I gave them a number.
After that they did not call me back and when I reached them. They are saying they have concerns over salary and currently checking on other candidates. They said its not rejected but they will get back.

What should I do ?

For some reason TCS HR did not responded on quoted compensation and was lowballing. The call was not fruitful. As i have already resigned not sure even if they release the offer letter no.

I’ve worked at the same well known tech company since I graduated school 8 years ago. I’ve been promoted 3 times so I’ve held a few different jobs within my org.

BUT .. I’ve applied to a few companies and getting no responses. Is it a deterrent for hiring managers/recruiters that my experience is based primarily at one company?

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

Hi all, I have a final round of interview at Meta for a PM position and the HR told me that I would be assigned an existing PM to help me prep better and to ask any questions about the next rounds. Any tips/warnings/advice on potentially trying to move from Big 4 to either MBB or a T2 boutique firm? I’m anticipating reaching M1 in Big 4 within the next 12 months.
