Year I went from M to SM my salary went from $170K to $171,500 or about 0.9%. My bonus potential went from up to 14% to up to 26% max. It was pretty shitty and I was vocal about it. They didn’t do anything for two years then the new service line leader heard my plea, liked me, and gave me a $15k addition to my year end bonus from his discretionary pool. I quit two years later as KPMG of all places cane in way over the top in total comp.
I’m in a whole new job role. Base $200 plus commission on bookings. Capped at $500K
Usually it’s 3.5 to 6% depending how aligned you are in the range
Your saying salary bump in only 3-6% when you get a promotion from mm2/3 to sm1?
From 2nd year, 1st year jump is relative on current base
What would you say is the minimum jump. As either percentage of $ increase
Anyone willing to give actual numbers? % don’t really mean much for a neog perspective
Actual numbers are preferred. Its anonymous and all... also, 5-6% increase is the same for promo from consultant to SC, and SC to M, so I need actuals. Trying to get a sense of where I would be in 3 years and if it's worth it to stick it out
And I was a consistent 2 rated performer during this promotion and subsequent years
Where are you now: base wise?
I’m wondering the same thing OP. I won’t stay if I see a shitty raise. K1 which service line were you with at D?
Are you guys hiring at @kpmg1 😳
All my Big D colleagues, we already got our offer for a "Free Amazon or Google Home speaker to say thank you", which we all know means shitty bonuses and perf increases. It's nice to have nothing to look forward to in two months
OP is that for real
Yes it is D2, at least it is for LLP Cyber Risk
