How tough is it to lateral to a larger bank, or to exit into corp dev/strategy at a "large cap" company at the VP-ish level? I'm currently in IB at a smaller MM bank, but kind of trapped until I get my green card which obviously will be a few years. Ahem - any ladies have tips and tricks for hair removal practices I came from a culture of waxing but that requires hair to fully grow + my hair grows pretty quickly so waiting for full growth for waxing is hard to work around (for legs, underarms, etc.). I tried shaving but my hair began showing in 1-2 days. In general though, not something my family struggles with in general, but I’m just hairier? A friend was told their firm will cut ties EOY if certain things don’t improve. Friend had planned to quit in the next year anyway (to start their own business), so there is no real incentive to bend over backwards. Friend’s goal is to keep the income for a little longer, but to minimize conflict / headaches. What’s the best move here? Wait until EOY and take the severance? Give 6 / 9 / 12 months’ notice now? Is there such a thing as too much notice? Could too much notice backfire?
