Appreciate your suggestions/input.

I have been working in the construction industry for 2 years under a general contractor. I am wanting to get into consulting and my ideal role would be something like an Associate in Major Projects Advisory with KPMG. I’m curious to know which firms/companies have positions and departments like the one mentioned that I could apply for?

I pivoted out of insurance underwriting into accounting believe it or not but sometimes i do miss underwriting a lot. it was pretty unique work in my opinion i dont have anything bad to say about it other than in my own city jobs were limited for it (different cities this wouldn’t be an issue with really)
Underwriting is a good carrier, depends on product and market overall. Some issues can be changing market dynamics which mess up bonuses but if you are at a good place everything should be a steady path forward. Just depends on place and people, which is hard to tell from the outside most of the time. But doing this over 10 years now it’s predominantly good. Thinking of switching to brokering at this point myself just to get a change of pace.
Not in insurance myself, so I can't weigh in. But I know there are a couple insurance bowls on here. Maybe try posting to one of them? You'd probably get a lot better insight there.
