I am in a bit of trouble. I had signed a bond for 2 years when i got into my company as support engineer. Now, after a year of working I have decided to leave the company due to continous night shifts and low pay.

Issue is after completion of notice period, company has held back my final month salary. I had given given my original education documents when i got it. They are blackmailing me and asked me to pay 2.4L to get my documents back.

Are relieving letters required in case of part time jobs?

Even though the firm is good culture wise, I cannot stop thinking about the wage pay gap that we have here. For example, a senior consultant (from a tier1 college) makes double of what a consultant does but the problem is that work/accountability/ expectation wise the posts are actually the same.
