Aramark literally sent me a offer letter then days after I signed the offer letter that was sent. I get a phone call stating they unfortunately have a new offer letter and the first one was a mistake but that's literally the amount we all agreed to in 3 interviews then the new offer no joke being $15k less in salary. Should I hire a lawyer or something?

I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. I cleared all my rounds of interview in JPMC, had salary discussion with HR 2 weeks back. After which i was asked to apply the job on candidate portal and submit additional information.

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.
