Are required billable hours comparable to salary? For example, if you have a required billable hours of 1800, is a salary of 100k comparable???

The JB related details are not mentioned in the offer letter and when I tried calling my HR he is neither picking up the call nor replying to my email. Will they be giving me the bonus, if yes what shall I get as a reference from them. Please advise. TIA

Hello. Just curious on what's the salary ceiling for a manager position at Deloitte? Received a verbal offer and waiting on written offer. I'm in the middle of a background check with Deloitte for a Project Delivery role. In the background check application I listed my previous employers - Cognizant/Teksystems etc but my resume only had the client names I worked at . Does this pose a problem if Deloitte HR compares my resume to the background check form ? Also my title within cognizant might have been an associate but my resume mentions the designation for the client. Is this a reason for concern? Will they ask me to justify it ?

I have billed 4+ hours today helping a partner prepare a 10 slide PowerPoint for a board meeting tomorrow. Let’s say half of the time was fixing spacing and formatting. I really don’t care as I am billing all of it, but am I wrong in thinking this is unjustifiably too common and a waste of time?

What is the average paralegal salary in NC for a commercial real estate law office? I’ve been with a great firm for the last 9 years but am starting to wonder if I’m being compensated fairly. The company is about 30 employees (mostly attorneys) but I work primary for 4 of the attorneys.

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

So I have my bachelors in criminal justice and I just finished my paralegal certificate course today. My attorney should be making partner this year. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner.
