@McK 🐠🐟 I'm a BA starting in two weeks and I was curious about seating on flights. Can I request always getting extra legroom or exit row as I'm a 6'5" male and can't fit in a smaller seat? Contd...
I worked hard at a small agency and was promoted from AE to AS after only 8 months in the industry. I had to leave and found a contract position as an AS at a large agency. I am finishing my contract and my boss offered me a permanent position, but wants me on as an AE. I am open to the AE position, but they are unwilling to compromise on the AE salary which is a substantial cut from my salary at my former agency and 45% of my contract pay. What do I do? Do I leave if I feel I deserve more?

Does anyone have a document with example narratives for billing a client?? I’m looking for something to adapt and that I could use frequently in an estate planning practice. On that, I’m completely new to billable hours and coming from an in house role, so I’m trying to do anything I can to help my end goal.
Moms, both husband and I are nearing the end of our parental leave. We live in a two bedroom in NYC. We are thinking of hiring a nanny. The plan is that I would work from one room and husband would work from another room. We can move the changing table and pack n play in the living room, and the nanny and the baby can hang in the living room. Does this sound like a good plan?
I’m interested in possibly in using the Predictive Index test for hiring purposes. Does anyone use it? Any information would be useful in determining if this is a good hiring strategy.
Has anyone obtained the SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credentialing? if so, did you find the class and credential worthwhile? Could you share where you found value added to your role as a recruiter?
Considering leaving Bain with 2 years in SM role, HSW MBA, and 11 years since undergrad. Google role is non-technical Cloud Strategy. Unsure of title or level at this point - called "lead" but contact indicated flexibility. Would be remote in a non-SF/NY location. Mgr indicated it was technically an individual contributor role though I would be managing 2 people. What comp/level should I expect (Assuming L6?)? What is the significance of the IC role if I'm technically managing 2?
Anyone hiring an analyst/associate that is actively involved in the self storage investment space? Looking in the Chicago area or potential remote work. Message me.
I got recruited for an in house position...3 months pregnant. I know I am not guaranteed parental leave, what are the pros/cons of telling the interviewer about my condition?
I had a referral at bcg and was told recruiting would reach out if I was qualified if I’m not will I be notified or just left in the dark
Currently pregnant with baby 2 and a start-up which I was really keen on about 9 months ago came back around to offer me a position. I am about 4.5 months away from leave with my current firm. Am terribly nervous about accepting an getting more even half of the leave I could have gotten before. To top it all off they are offering 50% salary until they raise their target (about 30% to their goal right now). This position is in my dream field and a great fit for me, but the timing couldn’t be wors
Hey folks were hiring PMs (and other positions) in a bunch of locales right now. Happy to chat 1 on 1 and provide reference if you’re a good fit!
How might our nation reconcile its “dire” teacher shortage? How would you do it, given the opportunity?
PWC fish Recruiter reached out for M/SM role in Ops practice. What are the levels/cohorts in M/SM and what's the base/bonus target for each? TIA
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.

Accenture's o9 Solution Architect (Supply Chain Planning) Opportunity - recruiter reached out for a consultant role. I'm interested, but I'm not sure if I will be pigeon holed with this role since the job title and description are specifically tied to o9. Is anyone willing to give me more insight?
Is Deloitte’s healthcare practice currently undergoing a hiring freeze due to rightsizing?
Anyone in Anthem’s Strategy Consulting (ASC) group that can give insight on the company, role, culture etc.
The more pedestrian your intellect, the better fit you are at D Heard of a colleague with an FRM charter being laid off today. Overall excellent person. And you won't believe who they promote year after year.. the character, curiosity and quality of the lifers Don't join this firm if you for a love of learning and to be inspired. Join if you are a middling who wants a good brand to hack ahead in life and rise above your station
Best city to live in in early-mid 20s?
PE is notorious for being difficult to get into unless you’re coming from IB. However, there are success stories for consultants breaking into PE even without an MBA. Which got me thinking, how difficult would it be for a healthcare management consultant to land a spot at a healthcare-focused PE firm?
Someone who has left economic/litigation consulting, how’d you do it? 3YOE. Currently looking to exit into a more general consulting/strategy role without going back to school. Always get feedback about my industry being niche
As many of us navigate the challenges of negotiating during Covid layoffs, my question is what do you think is a good, fair and realistic salary for an independent agency to offer a Creative Director with 10+ years of experience in metro Detroit, considering the current economic climate?
The current administration has banned critical race theory-based diversity training across federal agencies claiming education around white privilege is anti-American. As someone who is dedicated to anti-racism work, I believe these conversations on the pervasiveness of systemic racism are necessary in order to dismantle the broken system and are central to our work as HR professionals. I fear what precedent this ban will set. Thoughts from other HR pros? https://www.forbes.com/sites/janicegassam/2020/09/05/trump-bans-diversity-training-claiming-its-divisive-anti-american-propaganda/
What do you think of PwC’s American restructuring by creating “Trust Solutions” and “Consulting Solutions” rather than the regular model of advisory/consulting, audit and tax? I am asking as an intern there right now looking into advisory and they did not let us really know. Also they are cutting jobs they actually want to add 100k workers in 5 years.
Seeking benefit clarification - US Health Indursnce says “Employee cover starts frm $17.65 PCM w/ $400 per month contribution by employer”. What does this mean? Worried about mental health costs/srvcs
I have a product launch tomorrow and am trying to temper coverage expectations without sounding like I’m blaming a lack of media interest in COVID. How are you managing client expectations now?

In the midst of all these layoffs, I'd just like to point out that I've worked for FCB Health for 15 years (now at Area 23 for last 6 years) and in my time here, there has not been a single layoff.
