Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Amazon L7 equivalent in PWC?
Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

You hate accounting… but think you’d be good at recruiting them into the field? Got it.
Fair enough. Here’s my two cents, since you asked. It’s not a great time to get into recruiting with the economy looking like there’s a potential downturn on the horizon - even if it doesn’t materialize, people are slowing down on recruiting and in some cases laying people off. That said, if recruiting is something you are passionate about then go all in. Don’t limit yourself to accounting/finance. Go apply to recruiting firms. Your a recent / new (?) grad - you can go in any direction you want without much backtracking. It’s good that you found out this early that account isn’t for you. Go try something different and see what happens!
