As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person). Clearly it’s a cost cutting measure. Has anyone ever Upgrades to premium class on a flight (on Alaska in this case) only to cancel for a flight credit? Basically I booked saver fare, need to cancel it but don’t want to eat the cost. It’s $100 to upgrade round trip and premium class can get a flight credit. Is this possible? Or will Alaska not let that happen?
