Finally just took a day to work from home. My office never instituted a hybrid policy, kept everyone in office full time, and now our county hospital beds are full. One thing I didn't realize was the toll anxiety and constant tension was taking on me. We all need to be a bit kinder to ourselves because this profession isn't going to do it for us.

Teaching a SPED music class this year and the students have finally *mostly* become comfortable in the room and with the instruments + noise. HELP! I’ve been contacted by a small private security firm who wants me to be their “on call” counsel. They describe it as a lot of contract review, drafting NDAs, etc. but also being there if/when they need to license a vehicle, defend civil suit, etc. It’s overwhelming but sounds like a really great opportunity.
