More male associates in my office are taking full leave. I think especially the female attorneys look down on make associates who aren’t taking time off. The culture around this is shifting.
No issues and have seen it happen plenty of times. American firms are more antiquated than UK/Aus biglaw firms in this respect, but you will be fine.
I took whole thing in 2017 but it was only 4 weeks at the time. It was fine for me. Take the leave. As I’ve said before, it’s 2021 not 1951.
