As of this past Friday, I've received a really decent offer, but the company's HR is pushing me to resign before my background check clears so I can meet a 1-month start date. Since my notice period is also a month, I’d have to quit tomorrow. They said not to worry if my CV is accurate, but this feels like a bad idea, and it's annoying me. Is this rushing normal or a red flag? Should I tell them I’m not comfortable and possibly lose the offer?
