As someone new to insurance, I’m fascinated by how quickly AI tools are being introduced into the industry. It feels like they can save time and make processes smoother, but I also wonder if they might replace some roles in the future. For those with more experience, how do you see AI changing the way insurance professionals work over the next few years?

I am insearch of a needles role with a company at the moment and this is a question I have been asking myself. Curious to see the replies too.

They have already shifted to AI and will continue to make changes in the future. Field jobs will be there, sorta but the pay will likely decrease because it will not take a skilled eye or an experienced adjuster to make the recommendations because AI will overtake the decision making. The amount of desk jobs will likely remain the same because the bulk of work and reports will be done by AI. The sector I see increasing in the insurance is in Fraud Prevention. This sector currently is about a $6 billion industry.
