I had an online assessment round at Intuit and then a technical round. Both went good. But its been 15 days I am yet to hear back from them. Does intuit send closure/rejection email or is it just implicit? also what is the cooling period for intuit ? and what should be the expected ctc if things go right? Current Designation: SDE2 | Current CTC: 20LPA | YOE: 10
Is there anyone from Carmichael Lynch in here?

I would choose Azure & Open AI, Microsoft cloud is growing and open AI I don't even need to talk
I’m biased, but would choose Databricks. Open AI is just one component of an architecture, and hard to know what future looks like. That being said, both are fantastic roles
Hint: only one of those is a MAANG.
I heard many bricksters are ex-big tech people indeed. I have no doubts about their skills or experience. But my biggest concern is to be limited by the DB products when it comes to AI/ML work. DB provides a very capable platform that allows AI/ML work, but they are not the main revenue driver for DB. With the high sales pressure, I fear ending up spending most of my time pitching Lakehouse and Unity Catalog rather than doing actual AI/ML work -which I find more interesting.
The position at MSFT seems to focus mainly on these services, delivering AI and Gen AI work at the bleeding edge. But the actual upside of joining DB would be joining a growing pre-IPO company with more generous RSU packages and career growth. But by how much more, that I can’t figure yet.
Based on people Ive talked to recently, they are also thinking of moving back. The pressure on sales and revenue is becoming unrealistic.
