I am currently interviewing on west coast but there is a decent chance I’ll need to move (could be anywhere in US) for husbands medical training in 1 year. Will this be a problem? Should I be strategic about my home office thought process?

I have worked my way up in Insurance for 4 years but the 1st year being an intern/front desk/admin and was promoted twice and now an account associate helping my AMs/AEs manage our Producers' books of business. Tax Question:

I lived in VA for 8 months of 2019 and then moved to DC for the last 4 months. I got a federal and state refund from VA, but now owe DC “state” taxes because apparently they were not taken out of my paycheck.
