If the company has a strong brand.
I wouldn’t jump for title or minor bump in salary unless work and industry were something I really aligned with from a long term perspective.
Other considerations, as mentioned above, include overall brand recognition and company trajectory.
A really wise mentor of mine said you shouldn’t be “leaving consulting” in the sense that you’re running away. You should be “starting something new” in the sense that you’re chasing something better. Something that excites you.
That’ll make the decision much easier. Keep in mind factors such as losing / broadening network, having to re-prove yourself to build an internal reputation, and other significant factors like change in lifestyle (e.g., no travel).
