Hey all, got an offer at EY FSO Digital & Emerging Technology as a senior consultant (UX/UI) 125k (no bonus) with 2yoe & located in HCL city.
I originally asked 125k thinking I’d be staff II, so I was surprised with the senior title.
Should I be asking for more or is this a good offer?EY

Thursday night people on this app are all a bunch of bitter a**holes (myself included) because we're all stuck in an airport somewhere. I love it.
It's actually about 350k
That's the start. Overall avg is about $1M.

New Partners only make roughly double what MBA hires make? That seems unlikely

Comp depends on service line. Average in advisory is around $900k. New partners make much less than average.
P1 at which firm? My understanding was that at Deloitte partner comp doesn't vary significantly across service lines, even across firms (Consulting, Advisory, Tax...). I can't rationalize it but so I've been told.
You have you remember that Partners pay taxes as both an employer and an employee. I think first year pay is 450k but the take home impact of that is significantly less. 900k seems high for an average at Big4- Principal 1 are you MBB?
P4, I've seen the 900k figure but it's average across all consulting partners (i.e. all tenures). Also, not big4 - Deloitte 😊
😏ok uncle D- I would bet 900k is false advertising for the majority of Partners. It is probably much closer to 600k.
That I don't know. It was an average, not a median. However, the stats I saw had averages for each of the 5 partner tiers and the expected # years spent at each tier - seemed believable. In any event, I wouldn't doubt that the partners in a private partnership get paid a lot.
I'm in the Big 4 and that's the average for Advisory. Audit partners make less than Advisory partners. Not sure about Tax.
