Currently 1 year into B4 and feel unfulfilled and tired of my job. This company/title were sold to me as the dream in college so I convinced myself that’s what I wanted. I hope to work at a technology company, and I want to grow my comp as quickly as possible. Does it make more sense to stay at B4 and leave at senior or to go ahead and target a tech exit opp? I don’t have much faith in my B4 providing good raises due to covid.

Unpopular opinion: EOY evaluations are pointless. It’s great for personal development, but has little bearing on promos and raises. I suppose your evaluation summary may help convince your performance score, but from there that score is not a major factor in yearly salary and promo decisions.
