Baby Professional here - I was just given the second half of a promotion into Tier 2 for my company, on course for a Tier 3 promo in the next 6mo to 1yr. It's a smaller company and I believe they are willing to pay to grow my talent as I've already done very well with deliverables and all metrics thrown my way.

My questions is how much do I ask for at the Tier 3 promotion? Since they divided the Tier 2 promo into two smaller rasies, I've landed at 55K. I want to ask for an appropriate amount.

I recently received a VP offer at AlixPartners, can someone at AP help me understand this new profit sharing/ longevity bonus they have? The HR rep was not very clear given how new it is. Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

I want to quit without a job lined up. My agency is a dumpster fire of incompetent project managers, revolving door of creatives and culture of not holding people accountable amidst a micromanaging gossipy leadership. I just want out. Tell me it is ok and will be alright.
