I’m purposely going to email my RM for every single PTO request I have whether I end up taking it or not and whether it’s 2 hours or the full 8 hours just so I can prove how stupid this new policy is.
Send it to Libby Bacon as well ,so they should realize how awkward their expectation is .
Can’t wait to see wait to see the reaction of my Core project team when I “ask” for a day of PTO.
Then ‘fall sick’ and ,’take rest’ for a day .
USDC sucks!
Isn’t Deliotte more getting biased towards PDM/ USDC professionals… if they need to implement PTO policy , it should consistent across Deliotte !!
Yes . It’s a clear bias and not justifiable for a free thinker. In the early 19th century there existed apartheid which discriminated people based on color and race. In the modern century we see corporate apartheid, and discriminations based on different talent models.
Yes. The key highlight is you cannot go into negative PTO anymore
That’s what I caught as well. Have to use LOA instead.
Looks like they want to screw up the PTO plans.
And who is going to validate I sent the approval email to my RM for PTO? RMs are already overwhelmed… will they have bandwidth to check if every person on their roster has approved PTO everyday..nah 🤷🏾♂️😂
Not for commercial but not sure about gps
You don’t gain approval from your RM, it states to INFORM your RM, approvals start with your project leads, then TBA, whom then seeks the other approvals needed.
This is not cool.
The >2 weeks policy was already in effect.
The less than 10 days policy wasn’t and annoys me to no end. We now have to get written approval for 1 day PTO from our project and then email RM.
You always needed project approval for your pto less than 2 weeks. The only difference I see now is that you're supposed to notify RM as well. Anything over 2 week still the same just hard cap on going in negative on PTO time.
Yeah, usually for PTO, at least on my project it’s been sending informal invites notifying someone is on PTO 99% of the time. The 1% of the time it hasn’t been that is when there was a possibility of multiple people being on PTO and figuring out coverage or scheduling to ensure that PTO didn’t overlap.
My issue is, why are they biased, are they thinking we're just looking for acceptance because we're low life professionals, and why not is it Deloitte wide?
They need to provide justification on why it’s just us not everyone , what made them to take this decision.
