“So what?” What’s your point, or question??? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US!?!?

likefunny

Please never say “Cali” again unless you’re talking about the cartel.

Probably not enough for CK if that’s what you are asking

like

Congrats...you flew half as many miles as me. Here is your sunshine and rainbows ☀️☀️☀️🌈🌈🌈

“That’s it? Where’s the rest of it?"

like

I’ll give you $5 for each of your SWUs

likefunny

They’re pretty worthless. I tried using them 1.5mo before a flight and last minute some jabroni got his whole family on the upgrade list in front of me. Only way he could’ve jumped me is if he’s CK and had enough SWUs...

I know who you are. Ignore the others as I’ve been there myself, but these miles are pretty low to brag on a post :). 100k miles all domestic from the central time zone isn’t simple.

like

Cool 😎

It’s more of a curse. I’ve been doing the same for years except I also fly to Europe and Asia and my mileage is double that and more

like

Awww that’s cute. Double that for me

This isn’t even close to diamond on delta

Why so low?

I recognize that I’ve performed very well and garnered the recognition of many teammates while being able to maintain a fairly regular 8:30/9—4:30/5 schedule, but rather than be grateful for such an opportunity I can’t help but feel as though (1) I’ve been extremely lucky; and (2) I definitely should not feel like I’ll be able to continue experiencing such a (relatively speaking) lax setup.

I have so much mom guilt sending my baby to daycare. She’s 6 months old. The transition has been harder on me than her (she seems fine and happy, just isn’t sleeping well there yet) but I wonder if I should try and find a different solution. Part time nanny, part time daycare? We can’t afford a nanny full time. If I’m WFH and we have a nanny part time is it realistic that I’d see her during the day or am I kidding myself?

Wondering if anyone would be willing to share their favorite design-y book, website, or design studio? I’m feeling uninspired (and kinda bummed out) lately and would love to discover something new and cool. I’ll start — one of the most inspiring books I’ve read is Stefan Sagmeister’s pitch book for The Happy Film. I’m not sure many people know it exists, but it’s worth picking up. It’s also super short, literally tiny, and a breath of fresh air. Especially lately.

Me: This project has a complex technical facet that will need a week or two of PT attention from one of the experienced seniors who has worked on this client before, because it has a lot of business context Partner: Here's a fresh staff with absolutely no background on that specific technical topic and also very little functioning business sense. You get him FT tho! So same same.
