I would say if you like recruiting to stay in it. You don't want to be working in a job that you hate every day. I would stay recruiting and like the person above maybe start your own recruiting firm down the line. Money isn't everything, you need to be happy going to work every day. Remember this is your life and you don't want to be miserable.
100% agreed, and I know Finance already made me miserable before. I definitely enjoy recruiting more - just gotta move on to a company where I’ll be fairly compensated. Happiness > Money for sure (as long as you can still get by)

I mean if you’re good with people and finance, move to a fund, they are always looking to raise funds and if you are good with people and know the field you would prob be valuable there.
Could you start your own recruiting firm? Not sure how difficult it is to do so without that much experience in the field
Think it depends on the roles you’re recruiting for and how successful you have been in the past, and having the data to prove it. Personally, I’d say finding firms is harder since I’m on the candidate-seeking side. Once you’re established, the roles can just come to you.

Man recruiting is tough. and with this economic environment don’t know why anyone would want to be a recruiter
Leave leave leave - you are better off somewhere where you're actually valued
One thing that we can learn from finance is that a company will take whatever excuse it can to not pay you. Your current firm is doing the same.
I'm sorry that you're going through this, I've unfortunately also been in bad bonus situations before and learned the hard way. Good luck
Ummm what? For two straight quarters you haven't gotten your bonus? Sounds to me like it is time to jump ship. I don't know about you but nobody messes with my money. I would be getting the heck out of dodge.
Yep, absolutely ridiculous. Getting out asap
Depends on what you really like. I feel like you are not treated well in Recruiting. You should move to a place that values you.
No pay, no play.
How did they explain the non payment of the bonuses?did they explain at all?
“We didn’t hit company goals this quarter for revenue/starts” for the first quarter. Then they literally said nothing for last quarter… we just didn’t get it
