I was offered RSUs for the first time as part of my compensation. I think I understand the concept as such but there are a few intricacies I was looking to clarify. Could anyone let me know if my grant date is 9th nov, 2022 and vesting period is 1 year, will I get RSUs allotted at the price of stock on grant date or vest date (in this case 9th nov, 2023)? Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?

Really interested in life science/biopharma but there’s not much work in it here and nervous I won’t be able to exit to that industry. Are there any other options besides lateraling?
