Describe how you’ve performed those actions/skills.
Removed non HR specific verbiage from resume, LinkedIn, and speech, and replace with general HR, or HR parallel (did this just like HR).
Connect with people in the HR community.
Present yourself as an HR generalist.
Target smaller companies? Find a boutique consulting firm that will align you to a less specialized role, then jump from there?
