Besides RSUs and stock company plans, do you think it is worthwhile to invest in the company that you work for? I am on the fence as my company is doing well but feel that it might be overexposure for my income.

*Would be trading on the market

It's fine to do that if it's part of your portfolio. It would be prudent to treat your employer like any other company, you don't want to go overboard with it. If it's doing well, that's great, but you never know what's around the corner, and, as you say, you don't want overexposure.

Gotcha, thanks!

Anyone trade stocks on the side? Not at a day trading level, but not buy-and-hold either...more like aim to hold 5-10 stocks at a time for 1-2 months and earn a decent short-term profit (10-15%).

I’m 36 and I recently reached a net worth of 1 million dollars. I thought I was doing good but then I see other people with several millions and can’t help but wonder how they got there.
I feel I’m doing everything I’m supposed to (I save, I invest, I max out my 401k, IRA, etc...).

What can I do to upgrade my game and reach those higher numbers?

Maxed out Roth IRA contributions when I wasn't eligible for 2021 (got a salary bump mid year). Do I need to recharacterize? It's a very small account that's been open for only two years. That's the only IRA account I own. Do I need to open a traditional IRA and roll over 6k + realized gains into that account and keep the Roth IRA. So confused how this works and got conflicting information from Merrill.

I currently do securities ops/accounting but want to move into a more client facing role. One of our marketing/client service associates got a promotion, so I’m guessing she’ll be doing higher level work, which may leave a gap for some of the work she used to do. How would I go about asking if I can work on that team in some capacity but still do my current role? I’ve only been there 1 yr and I know my current manager also has some higher level items in securities ops he wants me to do as well.
