Coppell (near Irving). Southlake is solid as well, but a further commute.
Another recommendation for Coppell! It’s super close to Irving, and fast to get to Plano. Awesome schools as well.
Frisco
Second Frisco! Husband works in Plano. Really
Depends on where in Irving. I have a neighbor that works in Irving and doesn’t mind the drive from Frisco.
Look in Coppel to be closer to Irving, but Frisco, Prosper, Plano, and Lucas all have great schools. Find something with easy access to 121, and your hubby has a straight shot to work.
Arlington is way out of the way for both, I doubt that the poster read all the requirements.
I've lived in Arlington, Plano, and Frisco, and I worked in Las Colinas for a few years along the way, I know the area just as well as you do. Viridian is far, far less convenient than many other good schools/cities, considering both parent's work locations.
Map it out, OP, only you know what a reasonable commute looks like for you.
Coppell close to 121 toll road might be a better option for both .. we can’t make the lady drive much further than the man
Viridian in North Arlington
Vp1: I live in a 1.4 million home in Plano .. my reply was based on the context of the original post .. I went to school in Arlington, but that does not mean what ever the place you mentioned works out for all the needs
Euless HEB ISD, Colleyville, or Carrollton

so many good schools in the area. are u looking for private or public? greenhill and hockaday are good private. most public schools in plano/frisco are pretty good
Looking for public
Plano has great schools depending on the neighborhood. Most are very good but there are a few that aren’t as strong.
Coppell, Flower Mound, Grapevine and Far North Dallas.
Personally in Viridian here, but Grapevine/Southlake, Coppell, Castle Hills would be my picks in addition. Also…my wife is a local realtor and can give 0.5% of the house price back.
Private schools if you can afford the tuition 6 to 1 ratio.p and I attend private school in Mexico. But despite me being a devout atheist I’d rather send my kid to a private catholic school of public.https://www.niche.com/k12/st-marks-school-of-texas-dallas-tx/ https://www.niche.com/k12/cistercian-preparatory-school-irving-tx/
Not so easy to get admissions to st marks .. one of my ultra rich friends resorted to donating to a debtor often and then getting them call the school to get in .. Cistercian is a different story
