Anywhere in Alsace probably meets your definition. Colmar perhaps?
Colmar is beautiful indeed.
Most of southern Bavaria (Munich + surrounding lake towns),
Salzburg, Innsbruck, Vienna
Various mountain towns in Switzerland
An easy breezy trip is Copenhagen for Thanksgiving. The Christmas markets start early there and what a way to get in the spirit. Very walkable city you can see in a few days. Tivoli Gardens is a must see as it’ll be decorated for Christmas already. Spent a Christmas in Vienna and there was the cutest little faux Christmas market on the roof of the Ritz Carlton where you could have fondue in a gondola. Halstatt is magical if very touristy. Haven’t been but Strasbourg is supposed to be a top Christmas market destination. Wherever you go, be sure to check the Christmas market schedules as many don’t begin until early December and end by December 23rd.
This year’s Alsace trip was expensive..BUT no regrets whatsoever as it was better than a Hallmark movie

I was in Germany last Christmas. Switzerland would be even better I think.
