Loyal to Marriott, I typically stayed at the renaissance. It was fine, but nothing special. The Hyatt was the best hotel there, however (stayed there when marriotts full or out of policy in a given week). I spent about a year traveling there. I think the Hilton is newer or at least renovated, but I never stayed. Columbus was a surprisingly nice city, so enjoy!
Stay in the Short North! Lots more to do/eat/see/shop/drink than downtown https://shortnorth.org. It’s a quick Uber or CBus https://www.cota.com/how-to-ride/cbus/ to the office and any clients who are downtown. Downtown is boring after 5pm unless there is an event going on.
The Cbuses are cuter and smaller and my team uses them a lot in the summer when we’re in the office to grab lunch from the other districts outside of downtown.
Renaissance was the go-to whenever it was in policy
Agree with P1 that short north is great, but I preferred to stay closer to office and take the quick ride up to short north in the evenings.
Spent a few months at the Hyatt regency. It was nice. Quick walk to short north, option for breakfast buffet or food to go from their coffee shop in the morning. My only complaint was the gym was small but I was told they were redoing it last summer
Depending on where u are staying the AC is a nice property with a very nice rooftop and a few restaurant options
