I have received offer from Qualcomm. They haven't mentioned about relocation bonus or accommodation in the offer letter. I have tried reaching the hr since the next day of hr round but they haven't responded to my calls or mails. Any advice on how to get accommodation and relocation bonus. Or is it not possible anymore? FYI I'm in city x and the offered position is in city y of another state.
Update :
After several follow ups Hr have agreed they will give the relocation bonus and reimbursement

And come on guys, please dont tell me you think we all get exactly what we deserve based on our hard work in this profession. There are a lot of other factors playing in here..
Erm.... yeah PwC1, some offices didn't promote managers to senior manager because there wasn't enough of a need. And you're an asshole.
Lmao at staff accountant. OP is probably making decent money and having a life. Why do you people worship the shitty hours and lifestyle and criticize people that seek balance???
Depends how you measure success. Not everyone wants partner lifestyle. Even partners quit their jobs, its not easy, its demanding and stressful. For me success is working no more the 40 hours and getting paid my 6 figure salary and having my weekends to myself even during busy season.
I had a life and got promoted! Stop making excuses for not doing well.
And somehow you are a manager. Sad.
Loser
My bad, wasn't trying to downplay people who did get promoted. Everyone's circumstances are different, i just didnt have things working for me this year. And I initially stressed a lot about it to the extent it spoilt my health. After a while i made myself realize there's more to life than a promotion. Again, not downplaying people who did get promoted.
There's definitely more to life then promotions.....compensation is also very important
Not trying to downplay you OP, but there's no shortcut for success.
Thank you for clarifying that OP! 😊 And, yes it's never a good idea to let your health suffer. I had initially let my health and personal relations both suffer a couple of years back and nothing went my way. This year, I started with a 'Fuck it if it doesn't happen' attitude, and just did my due diligence in the work at hand - and things ended pretty well.
I'm sure you'll be great!
KPMG2: I do have all of that. So yes, I do feel I'm inching towards the success targets I set out for myself.
P2: I know that, do you think I live under a rock? But the way OP put it, seemed like he/she is trying to put down the ones promoted by indirectly saying they didn't have a life. So call me a asshole all you like. Truth is always bitter.
Know to manage your time and resources well my friend.
SFA1: exactly my point, you can be successful (earn well, have work life balance and even be promoted) while having a life. Why does OP make it sound otherwise?
I agree, in this profession you don't get what you deserve. You only get what you negotiate.
