I’m in Dallas and have been renting for 5 years. I don’t have any savings, but have about 30k in my 401k. Im thinking about leveraging that to buy a condo/or house. Is that a good idea or am I in over my head? I mostly want to, because I’m tired of renting and I’ve read reports that prices will only continue to go up. Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)

Hi guys, I am basically a PLSQL developer have below choices. 1) PLSqL offer from FIS 2) Data Engineer(Python+AWS) with Virtusa. 3) In my current organization I may get onsite opportunity to Japan. For first two offers almost offer would be 25LPA and 9 YOE. Which one is best to choose. Please suggest for my career.

It’s a myth that renting is “throwing money away.” Maintenance of a property is expensive! I’m selling my place and I’ve never felt more free. I can use that money (~$5000/month) to invest even more.
